Fort Mill, also known as Fort Mill Township, is a
suburb of Charlotte, North Carolina. Despite its status as a suburb, Fort Mill
is home to numerous attractions such as Narroway Productions, an entertainment
venue offering live theatre and dinner all year; downtown Fort Mill, which is
home to Memorial Park and several retail shops including The Painted Parrot,
Art Junk and Funk, and the PuckerButt Pepper Company; its peach orchards; and,
finally, the Anne Springs Close Greenway. The Greenway is an extensive
protected natural area consisting approximately 2,300 acres of lakes, forests,
and pastures that provide trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding.
